Mediator | Advocate | Political writer | Dispute Resolution
Christy Kelly is a seasoned legal mediator and political writer with over 18 years of experience helping individuals, families, and communities resolve conflict with fairness, compassion, and clarity. She holds both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University, one of the nation’s top programs for alternative dispute resolution.
Throughout her career, Christy has specialized in complex disputes involving family law, education, civil matters, and community dynamics. She has served as an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau, an ombudsman for the University of California, Irvine, and has mediated hundreds of cases often serving as a bridge between families and the legal system, especially for fathers navigating custody, support, and co-parenting challenges.
Driven by her lived experience as a former teen mom, survivor of domestic abuse, and parent of a child with autism, Christy founded Humanity Assemble, a nonprofit that combines legal advocacy, civic education, and holistic wellness to strengthen families and build resilient communities. Its core projects include mediation services, the Omni Dad initiative, family wellness programs, and public advocacy that encourages civic engagement and leadership development.
Over time, Christy’s commitment to policy transparency and civic accountability led her naturally into political journalism and media. She now uses her legal expertise to analyze policy and legislation through her newsletter, podcast, and published articles. As founder of State 48 News and a contributor to outlets like the Arizona Globe, Christy helps the public better understand the laws that shape their daily lives offering sharp analysis and a platform for overlooked voices.
Her work lives at the powerful intersection of law, media, and advocacy. Whether mediating conflict, building coalitions, or holding public officials accountable, Christy’s mission remains clear: strengthen families as the foundation of a healthy society.

Mediation
Helping families, businesses, and communities resolve conflict with dignity and understanding.
Through structured dialogue and neutral guidance, I create space for resolution — not revenge. My focus is on communication, rebuilding trust, and helping all parties move forward with respect and clarity.
Journalist
As founder of State 48 News, I report stories that matter to everyday Arizonans—from school boards and city councils to statewide policy and community impact. I also host national broadcasts and public speaking events focused on truth, transparency, and the power of independent journalism.
Family Advocate
Through Humanity Assemble, I work to strengthen families and rebuild communities from the inside out. We empower fathers, support mothers, and promote wellness of mind, body, and spirit. I speak nationally about family culture, leadership, and faith-based community renewal.
